What a final strike day. The foggy sunrise provided a photogenic start to our picketing here at Essex. See Twitter @UCUEssex for photos. Then after several hours of music, chatting to staff and students, honking cars and whistling (I am keen to hide those whistles for next time 😉 ~Lorraine!), the students marched onto the squares.
This afternoon there is a teach-out happening in Wivenhoe
And from tomorrow….we are working to contract/taking ASOS
